Ashes of Ausumgaard 6 Kill Teams

The planetoid Ausum-1783 is isolated from the Imperium of Man by violent warp-storms and largely considered lost or simply forgotten by most Imperial agencies. However now and then, tunnel shaped holes form like in the centre of a hurricane and allow smaller spacecrafts to enter the planets atmosphere. And it is through such a tunnel that two ships burst into view, lighting the eternal purple-green night sky over the outskirts of the planetary capital Ausumgaard. One ship is clearly in hot pursuit of the other, firing lascannons and torpedoes as it tries to force the other craft down. Without warning the fleeing vessel, a civilian craft with no weapons to speak of, makes a suicidal manoeuvre and fires its frontal engines. As it's prey suddenly drops speed the pursuer, an Imperial assault craft, tries to change course, but too late! The spaceships collide, voidshields crackling and sparking, and like twin comets they fall from the skies and into the abandoned industrial area west of the capital.
