You can make many different adjustments to your Kill Team in this mode. This gives you a great degree of control to correct mistakes.
Be aware that issues may arise from using Manual Mode, such as having too many points to spend during Recruiting/Rearming if you remove equipment from a Fighter.
"One soul. You will hunt one shining soul while all others turn their backs on vengeance."
Talos Valcoran was once an Apothecary of the Night Lords Legion before assuming command of 1st Claw. Noted for his prophetic gifts, he was given the title "Soul Hunter" by his Primarch Konrad Curze.
Initially of 7th Claw during the Horus Heresy, he ended up under the command of The Exalted of First Claw. He went on to follow Talos Valcoran after The Exalted's sacrifice against the Red Corsairs. Mercutian favoured a Heavy Bolter in combat and proved loyal to Talos throughout his struggles.
Cyrion was a veteran of the Long War like the rest of 1st Claw, who took part in various campaigns during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy, including the epic final battle during the Siege of Terra. Cyrion possessed a psychic gift which allowed him to taste and feed upon fear.
Talos considered him valuable, but Cyrion was hated by the rest of 1st Claw for his Chaotic corruption.
No-one is really sure where Undecimus came from; many believe that he has lurked in the Covenant of Blood's deeper shadows for some time. His eagerness and skill for inflicting pain on others is a welcomed by the Marines of the First Claw, but is a bane to the more vulnerable enslaved.
Once a proud and honourable fighter, by the end of the 41st Millennium, Uzas had fallen deeply into the clutches of Khorne, becoming a Khornate Berzeker in both practice and mind. He was the only member of 1st Claw to ever outwardly show his service to any of the Chaos Gods, though he was not alone in his interests.
Variel the Flayer was a former Red Corsairs Apothecary who had been the favoured apprentice of the Corpsemaster Garreon before abandoning his brethren to join the Night Lords Traitor Legion. Variel was dubbed "the Flayer" due to his habit of skinning his victims' faces and wearing them upon his shoulder pauldrons.
Xarl's skill with his double-handed Chainsword made him the deadliest warrior in the 10th Company, and gave Talos and 1st Claw much of its clout within the warband.
Nonus had originally been known as Maruc. Nonus was taken prisoner by Talos during a raid on Ganges Station and trained by Septimus as an Artificer.
Born as Coreth on Lok III and served as a pilot on that world before his capture by Talos Valcoran. He served Talos for several years as his Artificer and Thunderhawk pilot. Septimus enjoyed a privileged position amongst the Serfs that served The Exalted's warband and many freedoms as a result of his valuable services.
