Sent in after a major battle Ranger Data and Post Reconnaissance Teams are responsible for the collection of any archeotech scattered amongst the remains of the battlefield. Nicknamed "Data Carrion" by Imperial Forces who watch as the Skittari silently move through the still smoking ruins to drag back destroyed weapons to their Tech-Preist overlords.
You can make many different adjustments to your Kill Team in this mode. This gives you a great degree of control to correct mistakes.
Be aware that issues may arise from using Manual Mode, such as having too many points to spend during Recruiting/Rearming if you remove equipment from a Fighter.
A veteran of multiple post recon missions, 125 specializes in the swift and thorough recovery of alien matter and data for later processing by his superiors. He has led enough missions to know that some amount of enemy resistance is a common occurrence, and has been augmented with an omnispex attached to a servo-spine to aid in picking out enemy stragglers still lurking in the ruins of the Battlefield.
Armed with a mighty Arc Rifle, 147 experiences what his rewired neuro-curcuits tell him is "joy" from bringing the Omnissiah's Holy lightning crashing down on his enemies. His body has undergone a significant amount of argumentative surgery to support such an unwieldy weapon, but this allows him to shrug off enemy fire to a greater extent.
Abnormally quiet, even compared to his silent skiitari brethren, 133 watches over his team from behind his ancient transonic arquebus. Fitted with enhanced ocular implants 133 can spot enemies normally hidden behind cover and pick them off. Often the last thing an enemy hears is the report of his rifle in the distance seconds before they notice the small red dot centered on their body mass. The Data Carrion feel the loss of their overwatch behind them now, and are awaiting orders to reclaim him, or at very least his arquebus which must not fall into enemy hands.
A burly hive-ganger before he was reborn, 420 once worked as muscle for a smuggling operation in the under-hives. Unknowingly his operation stumbled across a piece of tech that had personal value to a Tech-Preist. 420's first interaction with the Skittari was when a ruststalker's transonic blade spilled his intestines on the hab-block floor. 420's usefulness was seen, and instead of being labotomised and turned into a servitor like the rest of his gang, he was given a new body and a new purpose.
A recent addition to the Carion, 475 was crushed by a Leman Russ on the assembly line in the factories of his home hive. Saved from being turned into food-stuffs in the matter reclamation pits, the Tech-Preists saw fit to rebuild 475 in the machine God's imagine. Eager to prove he is worthy of these gifts, he accompanied the Carrion on their most recent mission, where a traitorous Marine Raptor crushed his reborn body once again. 475 has had much time in a recovery tank to let his hatred grow as his masters once again pieced him together. He will not fail again.
